Nizami Bandhu is a famous Indian Musical Group comprising Ustad Chand Nizami, Shadab Faridi, and Sohrab Faridi Nizami. They perform Qawwali written by the poet Amir Khusro in honor of Nizamuddin Auliya. The band gained fame after they were featured in the song “Kun Faya Kun” directed by music director AR Rahman from the highly acclaimed Bollywood movie “Rockstar” in 2011. The ancestors of the group members have sung at Indian Shrines for centuries.
